Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years

Is your mains-wired smoke alarm working?

• Even when a smoke alarm sounds like it is working when
  tested, it may not be effective in the event of a fire.
• Every smoke alarm has an expiry date. It could be outside
  of the manufacturer’s guidelines of a 10 year expiry.
• Ensure you check the expiry date on your smoke alarm.
• Replace it when is out of date.
